NEW RESTRICTIONS ON CLUB ACTIVITIES
The following restrictions are now part of the Club’s Special Use Permit.
Obeying them is mandatory!
THE CLUB WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL SHOOTING
ON THE EQUINOXES AND SOLSTICES.
This restriction is part of a Memorandum of Understanding that has been signed by the Club, USFS, Chumash and the State Office of Historic Preservation. Activities such as work parties are permitted but discharging all firearms is strictly prohibited.
The dates of the no shooting days for 2008 are:
March 20, 2008,
June 20, 2008,
September 22, 2008,
December 21, 2008.
MODERN RIFLES 50 CALIBER AND LARGER BANNED. The USFS has banned discharging all modern rifles 50 cal. BMG and larger at the Club. The restriction is on modern high velocity cartridges, and does not apply to handguns, muzzleloading firearms, or rifles chambered for one of the early black powder cartridges.

Rifle and Pistol Ranges- 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.
Trap and Skeet Fields- 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Weather can be a factor, especially from late September to early March.
ALL EVENTS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO
WEATHER, RANGE CONDITIONS, ETC.
PLEASE CHECK MONTHLY BULLETIN FOR CHANGES
OR CALL THE CLUB PHONE PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
RANGES ARE OPEN TO MEMBERS DAILY;
BUT RESTRICTED TO USE FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET,
EXCEPT FOR BOARD APPROVED EVENTS.
